hree legends of the passenger vessel industry came together on stage at this year’s PVA 
Annual Convention at MariTrends 2026 to talk about PVA, the key role it’s played in 
shaping their careers and the industry, and to share their experiences and advice for 
upcoming mariners and leaders. Terry Wirginis of Gateway Clipper Fleet in Pittsburgh, Mike 
Borgstrom of Wendella Sightseeing Boats in Chicago, and Gary Frommelt of Manthey Hospital-
