Its sister ships, Barnstable and Aquinnah, entered service in 2024 and 2025 respectively. With the purchase of the three used OSVs, the financial burden was much lower than paying for three new builds. The costs worked out to getting three vessels for roughly the cost of a single new build, allowing the company to replace nearly a third of their fleet for the price of one new ship.
