Theyrespondedtoquestionsfromthecommittee, sent further information on the design of their Truck Ducks and hosted an impromptu visit to their facility by members of the committee.In March 2021, PVA staffmade a presentation describingtheDUKWoperatorswhoare members of PVA and highlighted the many studies and meetings sponsored by PVA to facilitate communication and understanding between the Coast Guard and PVA members andtoimprovethesafetyofDUKWs. Thepresentationprovidedanoverviewofpending legislation on DUKW vessels and suggested areas of focus for the committee.
