Formats ranged from educational ses-sions to roundtables to lunch-and-learns, all with the goal of not only delivering information, but engaging audience members in sharing their own experiences and knowledge for robust dialogues on a wide array of topics. Withthegrowinginterestinalternativepropulsionop-tions, this years schedule included the New Technology Conference:TheFutureofElectrificationisNow.This collection of sessions focused on electrification and new propulsiontechnologieswithexpertspresentinginfor-mation on various technologies, as well as exploring case studies of recent projects. Marketing seminars were held each day with speakers examining how to utilize artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance customers experiences, ways to generate add-on sales, and outlines of tactics for mem-bers to enhance their 2025 marketing plans. The final day of the convention saw the return of Passenger Vessel Oper-ators Day. Bringing attendees together in one room, a wide range of operation-centric topics were addressed. Members looked at ways to prevent and deal with rail jumpers and otherdisruptivepassengers,howtoraisepriceswithout alienatingcustomers,andeffectivelyworkingwithlocal fire departments when creating a fire safety program. The MariTrends 2025 exhibit floor is the gathering place of every convention. With an ever-growing number of ex-hibitor booths to visit, attendees could explore all that as-sociate members have to offer. Operators could meet with representatives from seating and interior design companies, naval architects and shipbuilders, leaders in ticketing and software solutions, engine manufacturers, and insurance companies.
